After several visits in recent years, I have become increasingly attached to this town - for the courageous ambition and compromising blindspots of its original imagining, and for its present imperfections, fragilities and uncertainties. For the warmth of human exchanges it affords, and for its moments of startling, layered beauty in the everyday. Perhaps above all, for the enduring possibilities it still seems to contain, somehow and despite everything, as an ambiguous, provisional, slowly unfolding work-in-progress. ― David Williams

This new model is designed as a compliment to the Manifesto Gibellina - Dream in Progress exhibition, developing long-term exchanges and networking between Gibellina’s cultural communities and Fondazione Manifesto’s diverse international network of artists, academic and educational institutions.
